DESIGN ASSURANCE

Building Commissioning

Building commissioning (Cx) is a rigorous, quality focused process that verifies all the systems in a new (or existing) building are designed, installed, and calibrated to operate correctly and efficiently. This comprehensive “systems check” covers the HVAC, electrical, life safety and controls in an entire building. Conducted by an independent expert, this ensures your systems deliver on design promises, provide occupant comfort, and minimizes long term operational costs.

“Vansant & Gusler provided commissioning services for this design-build ground-up Currituck County Schools project. The V&G team leadership was instrumental maintaining a strong partnership throughout the course of the project’s design phase and construction phase. The Commissioning Agent demonstrated solid technical knowledge, professionalism, and an effective collaborative approach with both the design and construction teams. Organized, thorough, and responsive. He was a key contributor to the management team, helping identify issues early, and supported a smooth transition into operation.”

Jim Vachon – Senior Project Manager – Sussex Development
