New three building judicial complex linked by connecting
corridors at all levels, providing courtrooms, support, office,
food service, computer, detention and security facilities.
Plumbing design featured fixtures, gas service, domestic water
booster pump system, hot and cold domestic water with electric
hot water heaters storm and DWV. Fire suppression system included
125 HP fire pump and wet pipe sprinkler system. HVAC design
utilized fan powered variable air volume (VAV) terminal units,
six VAV air handling units with variable speed drives (VSD),
chilled and hot water piping systems with connections to the
city complex central utility plant, two cooling towers and
process piping for computer room and spot coolers, kitchen
ventilation/make-up system, VSD secondary system pumps and
hybrid DDC/pneumatic controls. Electrical systems included
lighting, site lighting, power, 500 kW emergency generator,
75 kVA UPS system, telephone / data / computer riser systems,
closed circuit TV, remote broadcast system, telephone, intercom
and paging, master clock, central security system with camera
surveillance, door and cipher locks, intrusion detection and
fire alarm. |
