North Expansion of Norfolk International Terminal
Corps of Engineers |

Project involved demolition and new work for staging areas
at the Norfolk International Terminal. Design effort included
field investigation, design, drawings, specifications and
cost estimate preparation. Electrical scope of work for the
multiple phase construction provided site lighting, 4,000
amp primary and secondary power distribution, telephone and
fiber optics cable service. Power distribution featured underground
ductbank with service to refrigerated trailers, and wharf
and overhead crane power with power pits for the crane receptacles.
Lighting design included “lead-in” lights for
ship docking within the existing channels.
