Vansant and Gusler has designed many electrical and mechanical
projects over the past several years for both AT&T and
Bell Atlantic in this critical communications building. Electrical
projects performed at this location have included major upgrades
of AC and DC power systems, emergency power systems, lighting
systems and fire alarm systems including VESDA air sampling
systems. Mechanical projects have included installation of
computer room air conditioning units, air handling unit replacements
and automatic temperature control improvements. A project
currently under design will replace the building's major chilled
water plant components including chillers, cooling towers
and pumps.
